Definition of Conjugate

To take a conjugate of a binomial (two-term) expression, you simply change the sign in the middle of the two turns from \(+\) to \(-\), or from \(-\) to \(+\).

Description

The aim of this dictionary is to provide definitions to common mathematical terms.
