Definition of Celsius

The Celsius (or degrees Celsius, or Centigrade) scale is a scale on which we can measure the temperature in \({}^\circ C\). The temperature tells us how hot or cold something is.

For example, water freezes at \(0^\circ\; C\), the standard room temperature is \(21^\circ\; C\), and water boils at \(100^\circ\; C\).

Description

The aim of this dictionary is to provide definitions to common mathematical terms. Students learn a new math skill every week at school, sometimes just before they start a new skill, if they want to look at what a specific term means, this is where this dictionary will become handy and a go-to guide for a student.
