Definition of Circumference
The circumference of a circle is its perimeter.
It measures the distance around the curvy edge of the circle.
The circumference of a circle depends on its radius \(r\). It is found using the formula
\(\text{circumference} = 2 \pi \text{(radius)}\)
In this formula, \(\pi\) is a constant that is equal to about \(3.14\).
