Definition of Rotation
A Rotation is a movement of an object in a circular fashion.
When we rotate something, we turn it about a fixed central point. Every other point in the object takes a circular path around that point.
A full rotation (or full turn) is a rotation through \(360^\circ\)
A half rotation (or half turn) is a rotation through \(180^\circ\).
A quarter rotation (or quarter turn) is a rotation through \(90^\circ\).
Description

Students learn a new math skill every week at school, sometimes just before they start a new skill, if they want to look at what a specific term means, this is where this dictionary will become handy and a go-to guide for a student.
