Definition of Regular Polygon

Definition of Regular Polygon

A regular polygon is a polygon in which all the angles are equal and all the sides are equal.

A polygon is a plane (flat) shape with straight edges.

The picture shows a regular hexagon (a six-sided polygon), a regular octagon (an eight-sided polygon) and a regular (equilateral) triangle.

You should technically call a triangle a trigon, but noone does!
