Numbers which are in descending order have been placed in order from largest down to smallest.

Another word for descending order is decreasing order.

For example, the numbers \(99,23,18,7\) and \(1\) are in decreasing order.

The cows in the picture have been ordered from largest down to smallest, so they have been placed in descending order of the amount of cow.

Description

The aim of this dictionary is to provide definitions to common mathematical terms.
