A tangram is a puzzle consisting of seven wooden (or plastic) tiles cut from a square.

The pieces include a parallelogram, a square and five triangles of different sizes.

This puzzle originated in China during the Tang dynasty. The idea is to arrange the pieces to form different designs.

Description

The aim of this dictionary is to provide definitions to common mathematical terms.
