Finite Number

Definition of Finite Number

Definition of Finite Number

A finite number is a number that can be given a value or measured. It is not infinite.

For example, there is a finite number of trees in the national park in the picture, and a finite number of planks in the board walk. The number of people in the picture is also finite - there's only \(1\)!

The number of leaves in the trees in the national park is also finite, but it would take a very long time to count them all.
