Definition of Ascending Order | SubjectCoach

To place numbers in ascending order, you arrange them in order from smallest to largest.

Ascending order is the same as increasing order.

For example, the numbers \(1,13,25,43\) are in ascending order. The numbers \(2,15,3,8,6\) are not.

You can place objects in increasing order, based on a given measurement. For example, you might place a herd of elephants in increasing order of trunk length.
