Definition of Analogue Clock or Watch

An analogue clock or watch has hands that continuously sweep around.

The hours on the face of an analogue clock are marked form \(1\) to \(12\) and the positions of the hands show the time.

The analogue clock in the picture has four hands: three of them are an hour hand, a minute hand and a second hand. Because it is an alarm clock, it has a third hand (the yellow one) which is used to set the time that the alarm goes off.
