WooCommerce offers much flexibility by offering extensions which lags in some of the other solutions. Its free and very quick to setup. For startups you cannot go wrong with Woo.
There is a bit of learning curve but once you get the ball rolling it becomes just too easy in the end. We have tried our best to go in depth and to cover most of the things important in setting up your first shop.
If you are not ready to host your own stuff then you can also use established platforms such as EBay, Amazon or Shopify and use WooCommerce Affiliate link to link to outsourced cart platforms.
