"Vertices is the plural of "vertex".

A vertex is part of a shape at which two or more line segments meet. In other words, a vertex is a pointy part of a shape, or a corner.

Some examples of vertices include:

  • The eight corners of an octagon.
  • The five corners of a square pyramid.

Description
