IB skill practice

Apply ideal gas relationships

Paper 1, Paper 2 5 marks Difficulty 4

Pressure temperature relationship

In a second version of the same investigation, A fixed-volume gas in a greenhouse model investigation has pressure \(140\,\text{kPa}\) at \(295\,\text{K}\). Its temperature becomes \(345\,\text{K}\). Calculate the final pressure. Use the diagram first, then calculate the requested value. Enter the numerical result and choose the interpretation that matches the physical meaning.

Worked practice: physics data and result

Read the physical quantities first, then calculate the result and state what it means.
