Paper 1, Paper 2, IO 5 marks Difficulty 4

English A exam practice: Use evidence across two works in Paper 2

A student is pairing evidence from two works for one Paper 2 paragraph. Choose the evidence link that creates real comparison. Use the organiser to keep context, authorial choice, evidence, and implication connected. Choose the analytical focus, evidence choice, and technique choice, then select the interpretation that best explains meaning or audience effect.

Worked practice: build the analysis

Construct the analysis one move at a time, the way an examiner reads it: focus, evidence, technique, then effect.
