English A exam practice: Build conclusions that answer the whole essay question

A Paper 2 conclusion repeats points but does not answer the whole question. Choose the focus that best synthesizes the essay. Use the visual organiser to keep the claim, proof, method, and effect connected. Choose the analytical focus, evidence choice, and technique choice, then select the interpretation that best explains meaning, reader position, audience response, or comparison.

Worked practice: build the analysis

Construct the analysis one move at a time, the way an examiner reads it: focus, evidence, technique, then effect.
