Former Royal Bank of Queensland
The Royal Bank of Queensland opened its Maryborough branch in 1888 in this Kent Street building known as Windsor House and in 1922 the Royal Bank of Queensland merged with the Queensland National Bank. The heritage building features the Baroque revival style with broken curved pediments atop the facade and above the entrance.
Windsor House is just one of many buildings that showcases the incredible history within Maryborough on the Fraser Coast.
