About This Experiment
The greenhouse effect maintains Earth's habitable temperature through radiation absorption by atmospheric gases. Solar radiation enters the atmosphere, warms the surface, and infrared radiation is partially trapped by greenhouse gases like CO₂ and CH₄. Albedo determines how much solar energy is reflected back to space. This model demonstrates the energy balance that controls global temperature.
