Cone Formulas
Slant Height:
$l = √(r² + h²)$
Volume:
$V = \frac{1}{3}πr²h$
Surface Area:
$SA = πr(r + l) = πr² + πrl$
Where $r$ is the radius of the base, $h$ is the height, and $l$ is the slant height.
Example:
For a cone with radius 4 units and height 3 units:
- Slant Height = √(4² + 3²) = √25 = 5 units
- Volume = (1/3) × π × 4² × 3 = 16π ≈ 50.27 cubic units
- Surface Area = π × 4 × (4 + 5) = 36π ≈ 113.10 square units
