Hello! I am a recent UWA graduate, having obtained my BA in 2013 and am taking time off from university before pursuing postgraduate study mid-2014. I am available to tutor secondary English, English Literature, Human Biology, Creative Writing, as well as essay writing and study techniques. I have extensive history with studying English, as well as contribute regularly to the UWA student magazine Pelican. I am a friendly, patient and approachable individual and deal well with shy or reticent students. My availability is Sat-Wed after 6:30, although I may be available during the daytime depending on prior work commitments. I am based in Bassendean and am willing to travel 30 minutes for students. In an initial lesson I would ask the student to have available previous work or assignments as I like to focus on the areas in which the student needs most assistance, before helping them on future work with their current level in mind. Lesson plans are flexible depending on the needs of the student.
