Experienced flute teacher available for lessons on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons in my home in Gwelup, Western Australia. Learn to play the flute in a relaxed and supportive environment which brings out your best sound. Happy to teach for personal enjoyment, AMEB exams and/or competitions/eisteddfods. Attention given to tone, posture, breathing, correct note playing as well as the technicalities of the music played. Ages taught range from 5 upwards. If you are an adult beginner you are more than welcome. Parents of child students are also welcome to 'sit in' on lessons. I also lease a range of flutes, for $25/month. This is an ideal way to 'try out' the flute, without having to pay for it up front. Nuvo Jflutes, recurve flutes and standard student flutes are all available for lease.
