Professional Qualifications I was born in China and am therefore a fluent, native speaker of Mandarin. In addition, I gained a Certificate of Proficiency in Putonghua, Language Proficiency Assessment for Teachers in 2007 which provides evidence of my language ability. I have a current police check and working with children check as well. Working Experience I have taught students from kindergarten, primary, secondary schools and university for 10 years. I am currently teaching Mandarin Chinese in Chung Wah Morley Chinese School and Perth Chinese School in Perth. I believe in "learning by doing" and "practice makes perfect". I would like to help you or your child to build your interests and confidence in learning Mandarin. I am willing to offer Mandarin tutoring for all ages including kindergarten, primary, secondary to business standard level. I provide one-on-one, one to two and group tutoring to all age group. I use a wide range of appropriate strategies of teaching. I will provide some notes/book for you. I will also prepare different teaching materials such as some mandarin songs, story books, games, art work materials for your child. Individual classes My hourly rate for the tuition alone is between $35 -$60 and the rate I charge will depend on the number of hours per session, the number of sessions requested by you, the location held and your current proficiency level. Group classes My hourly rate for the tuition group is between $20 - $35 per person and the rate I charge will depend on the number of students, the number of hours per session, the number of sessions requested by you, the location held and the proficiency level of all of you.
