I am a 21 year old youth work student with a passion for Piano from a very young age. I began playing the piano at 7 years old, although I did miss a few years in high school, upon graduating I began taking my piano very seriously and for the last 4 years I have excelled even further than I imagined. Piano isn't only my hobby, it is life changing for me and one of the most significant roles played in my happiness. At first, I began teaching the piano for fun but that's the moment I realised how much I enjoyed teaching the piano just as much as I love playing the piano! I believe every child deserves a calm, supportive and loving environment in order to learn and I know I can provide that for them along with my background of youth work as an advantage to my skills with working with children. I am extremely patient and organised and give everything I do 110%. I've organised books, worksheets and exercises to help children reach their full potential during our sessions and make them feel happy and confident about themselves which will encourage them further. I have set up an antique Thurmer piano (142 years old) in my music room/space in a unit behind my home in Reservoir, I also have a Yamaha digital piano so the choice will be the students as to which piano they would prefer. I am available weekdays (Monday-Thursday and Sundays, however I can make most days and times work around the child and parents schedule :)
