I am passionate about teaching, and have a broad base of knowledge and experience from which to draw. I have lived in Tasmania most of my life, and am willing to travel, or use on-line media (such as Skype) to tutor students. I am also very patient, compassionate and pragmatic. I recently completed a Bachelor's degree (Honours) specialising in History, receiving an upper second. I believe that almost every student learns differently. Because of this, I feel that when students encounter difficulties in learning certain things, it is not the fault of the student, but rather the method of teaching that is employed by the teacher. Therefore, I pride myself in being very flexible, open and pragmatic; I always seek feedback from students on their progress and try to alter my approach where necessary. I believe that quality education should be available to all, and at an affordable price.
