Teaching is not imparting knowledge on to someone else, it is more than that. Teaching, I believe, is about providing learning experiences for students' that draw on their prior knowledge and utilize their interests to help them construct knowledge (or find the answer) for themselves. The most satisfying part of being a teacher is that 'aha' moment your student has when they achieve deep understanding of a topic. I believe that all children are able to learn and all children are capable of achieving. I provide tutoring for students from Prep to Year 7 of all abilities. The duration and frequency of each session depends on your requirements, however, there is a 1hr minimum.
