I am a second year Maths/Physics student currently studying at the University of Newcastle, who has experience tutoring mathematics for the last 4 years at various levels. I can provide assistance for students studying maths from Kindergarten up until Year 12, including Year 12 Extension 2 Maths. My availability is largely dependent on my university timetable, as my other commitments are often rather flexible, so I can quite easily provide a time for tutoring that suits both me and the regarded student extremely well. I am more than happy to travel to your home to provide my service, although I do prefer to tutor at home due to the number of textbooks and saved documents on my desktop I utilize during the average session. Usually I charge $40/hour, but if money is an issue I am more than happy to go lower, $40 is just my standard rate. I absolutely adore tutoring in groups, so if you want to really save some money and get tutored with a few of your friends, I am more than happy to facilitate that within a session. I can also tutor for longer, or shorter, than an hour, and provide online and over the phone assistance if required (although I prefer providing assistance online). I have compiled an extremely large amount of resources, both self-made, and acquired through various sources, to ensure the service I provide is at the highest standard possible. Usually I will try and focus my lessons on the issues the student has been having with the content they are currently learning in class, but it is not abnormal for me to provide them with extra work or extension material, or to even start working with them ahead of the class.
