I am a retired Principal Research Scientist with extensive practical experience in biology, chemistry, radiation physics and statistics.I have authored or coauthored of more than 40 scientific papers. I am also a qualified science teacher specializing in teaching high school senior years. I have wide experience teaching/tutoring overseas scientific and technical staff as part of Australian Government supported aid projects. In this situation, language and cultural differences were successfully managed by developing instructional materials to suit students' individual requirements. I am a lifelong science enthusiast with the ability to draw on wide-ranging theoretical and practical knowledge to effectively communicate information that is tailored to the students needs. I also play clarinet and saxophone and have extensive experience playing in military bands, orchestras and jazz ensembles. I am available most days and evenings by arrangement.
