I partially completed a Bachelor of Education (secondary)/ Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Newcastle. I was majoring in History and Geography education with a minor in English. I thoroughly enjoyed the degree and I only changed due to the changing political climate within the education industry and the direction that it was heading in. I completed the course requirements to work with children (available on request) as well as studying the courses for planning scope and sequence, lesson planning, syllabus and assessment. In my majors I studied medieval Europe in great depth, focusing on areas such as the fall of the Roman Empire, the reformation of the Catholic Church, and The Black Death. I also studied human geography and demographics, development studies in poverty and conducted field studies in specific areas of global poverty. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Business full time at the University of Newcastle, my time table this semester is Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I am available for tutoring on Monday and Tuesday after University, I am also available on Thursday and Sunday for lessons. I am able to tutor any secondary school student from years 7 through to students completing the HSC. During my own high school years I took English Extension II, Modern History, History Extension, Biology, Chemistry and Drama. I achieved a high ATAR and am available to tutor in any of these subject areas.
