Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision holds a large and diverse collection of moving image and audio items, along with related documentation. The collections span Aotearoa’s sound and moving image history – from the earliest days of cinema, audio recording and television, to contemporary film, television, advertisements, music videos, computer games and radio productions. The Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision Wellington branch we has weekly screenings from Wednesday to Saturday nights in their cinema, a cafe, free gallery exhibitions, a searchable online catalogue and medialibrary viewing area – it's a great place to spend a few hours or even a couple of weeks.
