During the winter months, Australia's longest running play moves indoors and is shown as a film of a live performance recorded in April 2014. The film tells the dramatic and hilarious true story of the last Great Escape from Sarah Island. In 1834, the last ship built at the convict settlement in Macquarie Harbour is ready to sail to Hobart. However ten convicts shipwrights steal the ship and sail to Chile. Great family entertainment! The film runs for an hour and 25 minutes. At the Risby Cove Theatrette at 1730 every day (June to August).
