South Pacific Heathland Reserve

Favorite
The South Pacific Heathland Reserve is a 14 hectare flora and fauna reserve on the cliffs above the rock platform between Rennies Beach and Racecourse Beach at the southern end of Ulladulla. As the southern limit of Sydney sandstone region it is a special place because of its diversity of local flora, birdlife, and spectacular heathland and panoramic coastal views. Whales may be seen from the viewing platforms during their migration seasons. The primary purpose of the reserve is the protection and preservation of rare native flora and fauna. It is administered by a voluntary group of citizens acting as trustees for the Department of Lands. The main feature is the Chris Humphries Nature Walk - an easy two kilometre walk on a gently undulating track.
